Writing AI Product Descriptions That Don't Sound Like AI

The prompt patterns and editing frameworks that make AI copy sound human.

Generic AI copy is easy to spot: too many adjectives, hollow benefits, and rhythmic sentence structures. Here's how to fix it.

Feed the model concrete facts

Materials, dimensions, weight, care instructions. Specifics anchor the copy in reality.

Give it a voice reference

Paste two paragraphs of your best existing copy. The model mirrors cadence and vocabulary far better than instructions alone.

Edit ruthlessly

Cut every sentence that could describe a different product. If the line survives with the brand name replaced, it isn't specific enough.
